The latest expansion marks a new phase in Dongfeng’s Malaysia journey, as Volt Auto partners with Central Auto Distributors Bhd to introduce next-generation electric vehicles designed for modern lifestyles, intelligent performance, and everyday usability, in line with Malaysia’s growing adoption of electric mobility.
As part of the launch, Dongfeng is offering an extended ownership package for both the Dongfeng 007 and Dongfeng VIGO, which includes a free ABB wall box, a six-year vehicle warranty with unlimited mileage, and an eight-year powertrain warranty with unlimited mileage.

Making its Malaysian debut alongside the 007 is the Dongfeng VIGO, created to support everyday life, family needs, and active lifestyles.
Built for daily commutes and weekend escapes, the VIGO offers generous interior space within a compact SUV footprint. It features a 500-litre boot with an additional 72-litre hidden compartment, a 2,715 mm wheelbase, and a class-leading usable space ratio, delivering exceptional roominess for its segment.
A defining highlight of the VIGO is its innovative “Heaven and Earth Gate” split tailgate, capable of supporting up to 150 kg. This multifunctional design transforms the rear of the vehicle into a practical platform for activities such as camping, tailgating, or outdoor gatherings — reflecting Dongfeng’s focus on versatility and lifestyle-led design.
